Felt, fabric and tulle at Practical Scrappers!

This Week´s challenge at Practical Scrappers is Felt, Fabric or tulle. I took a pair of old jeans and cut out a pocket from them, I glued it on with gluedots and stuffed the pocket with an icecream stick, brush and a pen. The pocket is decorated with a metallic frame. The picture is scrapped before, but I just love his facial expression on this one! Head on over and make your sample! /Pia

Veckans skiss v. 20

The pile of pp´s never seems to end... I decided to use up some of the VERY old pp´s in my stash, to give room for new ones! LOL! I used this week´s sketch over at "Veckans Skiss" and I really loved the simplicity to it! This layout´s about my dear boys playing with LEGO duplo.
Some handdrawn doodling and a beautiful flower that i recieved in a RAK from dear Krista a.k.a as Puppet in the cyberworld! Thanks honey for the beuatiful flowers and stamp!

Tomt fodral...

Some weeks are more stressful and sometimes you feel empty in the head... here´s even a sign on my DH that reads: Empty case - game is found at the cashier´s desk.

Practical Scrappers - Stickers

This Week´s challenge at Practical Scrapper´s is to use Stickers!! I´ve used some fun stickers from "Lagerhaus" and also used Dymo stickers for the title and some measuringtape under the title! A lot of handdrawn doodles and a very proud first grader that has learned at lot during his first year in school! Hurry up and make your entry in the challenge!

Deltävling 1 Liftutmaning

Therese Broman är en vän som jag haft sedan jag började med scrapbooking 2007. Tesa har en helt underbar stil med raka linjer och mycket fokus på text. På senaste tiden har hon gjort mycket kort och jag blir så avundsjuk på alla som får dessa fina kort av henne. Gå in och kika på alla hennes fantastiska alster!!

Jag gjorde min lite enklare, jag har även MYCKET svårt med blommor och fick kämpa för att hitta rätt på och få orning bland dom. Alla swirls är doodlade och så är även cirkeln och ramarna runt det mönstrade pappret.

Deltävling 2 fokus på text

På denna layout har texten fått fokuset. Jag intervjuade lilleman i höstas någon gång och har nu dokumenterat detta i och med denna layout. Titeln skulle också vara handgjord och jag har textat själv med vit penna. Ramarna är också doodlade med samma vita penna. Lite maskning med Tim holts Regal mask samt distress ink pad Weathered Wood. Imorgon ska jag visa en layout där jag liftat en av mina stora inspirationskällor.

Deltävling 3 Favoritteknik

Här har jag valt att fokusera ännu mer på doodling eftersom det är min favvis teknik. Hela Swirlen är doodlad och alla prickiga och sydda kanter är doodlade. Bilden tala väl egentligen för sig själv men nu är det ju så att vi varit tillsammans sedan 1992!!!! .... och kärleken blir bara större och större!

Papprena är från Pink Paisley och har använt lite olika dekos med Tim Holtz inspiration. Imorgon blir det deltävling 2 i fokus dvs. fokus på text.

Deltäävling 4 material och teknikutmaning

Till denna utmaning har jag använt Maja design papper i serien "Skogspromenad". Stansat ut bokstäver med min cuttlebug samt doodlat lite swirls och skrivit för hand, man skulle även använda färg på något sätt och jag har chalkat kanterna på det rutiga pappret med akrylfärg samt målat rubriken med cracklepaint. Snöret är scrappy floss som jag både sytt och virat med.
Bilden är från förra hösten när vi var ute och grillade korv.

Mina Scrapmästar alster!

Jag tänkte börja bakifrån och visa upp alla mina alster nu under 5 dagar. Deltävling 5 var skisstävlingen och så här blev mitt resultat! Bilden är på min systerdotter för i alla fall 1,5 år sedan och hennes lite förförande blick är ju helt oemorståndlig. Jag har använt Basic Grey´s serie Nook & Pantry och minialphas från Adornit. Titelbokstäverna är blandade chipboard som jag distressat med Tim Holtz distress ink pad "Walnut Stain". Imorgon kommer mitt bidrag till deltävling 4, material och teknikutmaning.

Why I scrapbook!?

There´s a "All Day Challenge" over at Scrapbook.com where you have to make a lo of why you scrapbook. The two gentlemen above is my reason, and for keeping the memories alive when I´m old and grey. I´ve used the awesome vintage pp´s from My mind´s Eye Life Stories and som old chipboard letters that I painted with cracklpaint. Handdrawn doodles and a few buttons that was lying around on my table!

It´s national Scrapbooking day today!!

This card is made for a special friend of mine who gave birth to a little baby boy this week! Woohooo congrats girl! Great job!! I used the wonderful alterations die from Tim Holtz and used grunge paper! I love this die!! Papers from Glitx design! Thaks for looking!
